Course Regulations& Golf Etiquette

Dress Code

Proper attire must be word at all times. Short shorts, halter tops, tee shirts, tank hops and jeans are not considered proper attire on the golf course or in the clubhouse. Caps and hats are not to be worn in the dining area. This includes teenagers, children and guests of members. Members are responsible for the conduct and dress of their guests.

Restricted Tee-Off Times

The above restricted Tee-Off times may be amended as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors. Effective changes will be posted in the Pro Shop

Special Group starting times must be cleared through the Golf Professional

Golf Lessons

Contact the Golf Professional. Lessons will be by appointment only.

Playing Rules

The following rules shall apply and the Golf Professional will be responsible for their enforcement as directed by the Board of Directors.

1. Every Member MUST register at the Pro Shop before starting play.
2. Rules of play shall be USGA Rules except where Local Rules shall apply.

Motorized Golf Carts

The Pro Shop has golf carts available for rent for the use of all members. Carts, when operated properly, will not damage the course; drive with care at all times.

Rules for operating carts must be observed as follows:

1. Carts are not permitted on any Tees.
2. Carts are to be driven in the rough where possible and are not to be driven on or near the fringe areas of the Greens. Always park no closer than 30 feet away from the greens.
3. Avoid sudden stops.
4. No more than two persons in a cart at any time.
5. Operator will be responsible in the event of misuse of cart. No one under 16 years of age permitted to use or drive carts. All operators must have a valid driver's license.
6. Carts will only be used when course conditions permit, as decided by the Grounds Superintendent.
7. Carts are NOT to be driven in the heather.

Local Rules

1. White stakes mark Out-of-bounds on Holes 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, & 18
2. The trees on Hole 16 are played as a Lateral Hazard.
3. Women's Tees are indicated by Red Markers
4. Roads are not a Hazard. Ball may be lifted and dropped NOT nearer the hole without penalty.
5. The ponds on Holes 13, 16, 17 & 18 are considered Lateral Hazards

Practice Area

This area is defined as the rough South of Hold 18 fairway. the area South of the Pro Shop - hitting Sough across #1 fairway - will be restricted to the Golf Professional for lesson purposes only.

Cutting in on 10th Tee

Strictly prohibited unless prior authority is granted at the Pro Shop.
