Shorewood Country Club was established in 1918. The clubhouse is located on the banks of Lake Erie just west of the city of Dunkirk, New York., on Route 5. The clubhouse with its panoramic views of Lake Erie offers meeting rooms that can accommodate 10 people, to grand affairs up to 300 people.

We offer a social membership that allows you to enjoy our 33' x 60' heated swimming pool. Our clubhouse offers men's and ladies locker room facilities, dining room, and main bar with a lake view, as well as our social events. We have a grill room and a bar on our lower level to accommodate various functions.

The dining room offers views of the sunsets that are unsurpassed in the area. The restaurant at lunch offers a casual upscale atmosphere and a more elegant atmosphere at dinner. The Chef and his team of culinary professionals pride themselves in quality and creative value added menus. Our professional service staff strive to ensure every meal in our dining room will be a memorable one.

If golf is your game or if you have been thinking of taking up the sport, Shorewood is the club for you! The club boasts a professionally manicured 6700-yard, 18-hole, par-72 golf course. In the history of the golf course there has only been two rounds recorded played under par. Our golf Pro, Jack Shubert, is available for lessons and also runs our Junior Golf Program. There is a men's and ladies league, as well as many golfing events during the season in which you may participate as a member. Oh, did I mention that no tee times are required for golfing members?
